F3 is a global network of workout groups with leadership at the regional and global levels. All members of leadership are volunteers - no one is getting paid to do this. The executive leadership team for F3 Nation can be found at https://f3nation.com/leadership/.
The F3 Plumas Lake region has its own leaders. We call them the Shared Leadership Team (SLT). They are tasked with guiding the men of this region to accomplish our mission. The leadership positions have funny names, so details are provided on exactly what they do.
In addition to specific responsibilities outlined below, all SLT members should:
Lead with empathy
Be on the lookout for men in need of F3
Be actively working out (Fitness)
Attending as many Fellowship events as possible
Collaborating with other SLT members
Maintaining a presence on the regional Band
Attend quarterly SLT meetings
I am John “Spirit Fingers” Hudson. I attended my first beatdown on 6/17/2020 with F3 Gold Rush. I watched and experienced the growth of the region. When I started, they only had three beatdowns a week and saw them expand to multiple locations per day. In August of 2021 I helped launch F3 South Fork by being the site Q leader of the AO called The Break. It is an all things rucking site. We carried heavy items, climbed steep hills, and moved quickly when slick. I had a great time during that. In August of 2022, F3 Asgard launched, and I helped that region by taking The Break with the region when it starfished. I led that until The Break was used as an experiment to converge the Sacramento Regions with a single rucking site that popcorned each week. On July 22, 2023, a Pax named Spicoli and I launched F3 Plumas Lake. I took the lead to launch because I wanted to spread the F3 culture that I have been a part of for the prior three years. F3 has given me more than I can say. It is more than a workout group. If you have questions about F3 just ask.
"Denis Troshin, AKA Farva, is a Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy with a passion for service and community. Born in Ukraine and raised in Sacramento, he holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and brings both heart and discipline to his work. A proud member of F3 for the past two years, Denis thrives on fitness, leadership, and brotherhood. Off duty, he enjoys working out, fixing cars, and spending time with his family—always striving to grow, give back, and lead by example.
Hi im Francis "Timberlee" Boakyedonkor age 39. I was invited to F3 by a church member called "Smugler" . I was already going to the gym earlier than these sites started, so it was nice the extra sleep in. I killed myself at the first beatdown because I never did cardio. I've got a stronger cardio sense now and I've even done a couple free half marathons. For me, F3 is more about the Fellowship than anything else. I love meeting new people and hearing the nickname stories. F3 can be anything you desire it to be its part of its DNA Open to all men and fitness levels. Come join us whether you have a goal in mind or just wanna hang out and stuff in the gloom all lone wolf's welcome.
Each workout location has one. They make sure core principles stay in tact and that every new man to show up gets a first-rate first impression.
Responsibilities:
Ensure there is always at least one person at each workout
Ensure a Q has been assigned ahead of time (have a backup workout in case the Q falls through)
Ensure new guys are welcomed warmly and followed up with after the workout
One of F3's saying is "Freed to Lead". If you want to server the region and see a gap in our leadership team, let us know! We'd love to onboard you and enable you to support the region.
Ask these men in leadership how you can help.
